Projects

  1. Per Dollar
    • AI companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google charge for their models by the “token” — a unit of text roughly three-quarters of a word. Prices like “$3 per million tokens” are meaningless to most people. PerDollar translates them into something anyone can understand: what a real amount of money actually buys you.
    • How you use the site: pick a budget ($0.10 up to $100), pick a real task (fix a software bug, summarize a document, resolve a support ticket, draft an email…), and the site instantly shows how many of those jobs each AI model completes for that money — for example, $1 might buy ~650 bug fixes on a budget model but only ~12 on a premium one. A comparison table underneath shows the underlying prices, and a “market screen” shows how the cost of AI work is changing over time, with a watchlist to star the models you care about.
    • Why it’s different: other sites just list token prices. PerDollar compares the cost of a finished job, adjusting for the fact that different models give longer or shorter answers for the same question — so you’re comparing the price of an answer, not the price of a word.
    • Status so far: a working prototype with real July 2026 prices for 13 major models; a task list grounded in published studies of what people actually use AI for (mostly coding); a design document for the automated system that will keep prices verified and up to date; and the code packaged in a git repo, ready to deploy to the web.
    • Who it’s for: developers choosing a model for their product, teams budgeting AI spend, and anyone curious what AI actually costs.
  2. Product Operations Compass
    • A bold, no-nonsense Product Operations Maturity Model built to define what “world-class” actually looks like.
    • A powerful diagnostic that reveals exactly where your product organization stands — across strategy, process, data, tooling, and governance.
    • A clear maturity stage score with tangible benchmarks, not vague opinions.
    • Insight into the operational bottlenecks silently slowing your growth.
    • A practical roadmap to move from reactive execution to scalable, data-driven performance.
    • A shared executive language to align leadership around measurable improvement.
    • Designed by a world-class product advisor who has helped teams scale with clarity and confidence.

If you’re ready to stop operating on instinct and start operating at a higher level — take the assessment and discover your next stage of growth.
